I can finally feel Caroline moving all round...

Yea, I finally starting feeling her move last week. I think I did a couple of weeks before that, but wasn't sure. I am for sure now :) It started as light flutters, but gets a little stronger everyday. It is so amazing!!! I am once again behind on posts, but I will post her 18 week ultrasound pics, everything looked great and my appointment did too!! My next appointment will be really quick just listen to the heartbeat, weight, etc. Then, the following appointment will be the glucose test. I am busy preparing myself mentally for David leaving for a training program for the next five weeks :( He leaves this Sunday, but I think I have convinced him into coming home maybe twice, but at least once. I am not looking foward to the next month, but I hope it goes by really fast :)

I want to wish a very Happy Birthday to my brother and sister, who are twins. They turned 25 on Friday night. David and I went out to celebrate with them and had a great time. My sis took all the pictures, so once she e-mails me some, I will post them.

Nursery Progress!!

Caroline's closet (I have just been putting stuff in there, will organize it later)

A pretty cross that I found at Hallmark

Valance and hamper that matches her bedding

David putting up the valance.

After the first coat

David's Saturday night project!!

Taped off and ready to start painting!!

David and I had a very productive weekend. I organized my office and the closet (which was a nightmare). David painted Caroline's room and it turned out just like we wanted. I know it is a little early, but David is going to be gone for five weeks for a training program. We went with the color "Glamorous Glow", which is a peach color. We have ordered the furniture, but it will not be in for a few weeks. Here is the progress so far. Also, as you can see from her closet I have been doing a lot of shopping!! My sister and mom have made many contributions to the cute outfits :)

Does anyone know an artist??

Okay, what I need would not take an artist, but David and I don't feel like going through 4 or 5 canvas and messing up. I want a 5' by 2' canvas to put over Caroline's crib. I want it to match her bedding and have her name in the middle. If anyone knows someone that could do this, please send me their name, number or e-mail. You can also e-mail me directly at aekelly21@yahoo.com Thanks.

Mallory is such a little fighter!!

Look at those beautiful eyes!!

Mallory and her sweet mom Mandi.

I went to Children's Hospital on Friday afternoon to visit a friend (Mandi Harris) from high school and her precious little girl Mallory. Mallory has been at Children's for a little over four months and has had multiple surgeries and even has two planned for this week. It all began with a heart murmer (sp). She is so beautiful!! Please keep the Harris family in your prayers!! They have been through a rough struggle and hope that Mallory can come home very soon!! She had a fever on Friday, but Mandi did let me go back in isolation to see her. She has the prettiest eyes and she was very alert!!

FYI: Susan I can't get spell check either!!
